Why is Microsoft raising prices?
Licenses will be 10% more expensive per user on average:
AI-driven analytics
Such as real-time financial insights and automatic reconciliation
Seamless collaboration with the Microsoft Power Platform
You can more easily link Business Central to tools such as Power BI (reports), Power Automate (automate processes) and Power Apps (custom apps). This makes your system more flexible and powerful, without additional customization.
Additional storage per user
Essentials: from 2 GB → 3 GB
Premium: from 3 GB → 5 GB
Device: from 1 GB → 1.5 GB
New functionality:
Durability module, master data management, and expanded localization support
What does this mean for you?
If your licenses are renewed after Nov. 1, 2025, they will automatically fall under the new pricing structure.
Therefore, it is wise to review your licensing strategy now. In many cases, it may pay to take action before the effective date and renew your licenses for a 1-year or 3-year period.
How can we help?
We are happy to review with you:
- Which licenses you currently have in use
- How to smartly adjust or renew your current contracts to avoid the new prices (for now)
