With this growth comes a natural increase in administrative tasks and the need for process optimization. Barbara turned to Sonical for the integration of an ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, to facilitate the management of double-entry bookkeeping and to gain a better understanding of her product inventory.
Optimal inventory management with Business Central
The first step was to transfer the company to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This immediately fulfilled Barbara’s desire to better monitor her stock. The ERP system clearly indicates which products are still in stock or need to be purchased. Since Studio Puur mainly imports from Australia, it is important to anticipate this in order to ensure timely delivery of all products. With a future webshop in mind, this is certainly a requirement.
Integrated financial processing
Naturally, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central offers other functionalities for efficient business management. You get a real-time view of the business processes as they are all interconnected, including the financial aspect. When Barbara transitioned from a sole proprietorship to a limited liability company, we also integrated the accounting into the system. Dynamics 365 Finance, a component of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, is a great solution for keeping track of and analyzing your financial numbers. When you have a better grip on your finances, your business will automatically become more profitable.
Everything from VAT processing to settling CODA statements is also possible in Business Central, fully compliant with Belgian legislation. This makes the work of the accountant much easier. Business Central provides the possibility for the external accountant to have access to the financial system and we, at Sonical, guide them where necessary to master all the tools.
Powerful reporting with Power BI
After the implementation of Business Central, we went one step further by making the connection with the Power platform. Power BI helps Studio Puur to get even more out of the available business data.
The reporting capabilities of this software are very extensive. Studio Puur can use it, among other things, to visualize quarterly figures and check which customers are entitled to a bonus. The tool collects all sales invoices so that with a few clicks of a button, you can see which customer qualifies for an additional product or discount.
100% Natural & Digital with Business Central
With all these optimizations, Studio Puur is well on its way to becoming not only 100% natural but also digital-driven. Thanks to Business Central, the company has more control over its purchases, sales, and stock, and is fully prepared to continue on the digital path.
