Microsoft announced, alongside prime minister Alexander De Croo, Microsoft’s «Digital AmBEtion» plan i.e. Their multi-year investment plan to help accelerate digital transformation and fuel sustainable growth in the Belgian market.
Central to the plan is their intent to open local datacenters in Belgium.
This Belgian datacenter region will connect them to the biggest global datacenter network in the world, with more than 60 Microsoft datacenter regions announced to date.
Their Belgian cloud infrastructure will allow local data residency, support the market’s needs for high availability & resilience, deliver advanced security, give access to innovative cloud solutions and offer ultra-low latency.
This will provide local organizations with additional opportunities to innovate and grow, while reducing their environmental footprint.
